Direct Payment features
If you are using the Direct Payment integration method, ensure to read the following Mastercard Gateway features:
- Payment enhancements: You can enhance your integration to improve the payer experience and to minimize the risks for your own business. Payments can be enhanced with details about ordered goods or services, or for an improved payment experience or easier authentication.
- Management of multiple sources of payment data: If a single request that you send specifies both, the card details and the previously stored token, then the gateway follows predefined precedence rules to determine which payment data source to use.
- Payment options inquiry:
You can use a specific operation called
PAYMENT OPTIONS INQUIRYto obtain information about the various payment options you can offer to your payer, such as payment plans, currency conversions, and surcharging.
